When does your horse need boots? · Using hoof boots can become necessary when mastering the transition from shod to barefoot. · When riding your horse on compacted surfaces that his feet haven’t been conditioned to. · If your horse is a high performance athlete and needs to compete in long distance rides or similar disciplines. Boots have been developed for all sorts of different riding categories. To name a few, there are the Old Mac’s, Easyboots, Easyboot Epics, Gloves, Glue-ons, Soaker, Renegades, Boa boots etc… Some boots are perfectly fine for trail and pleasure riding, while others have been fine-tuned to accommodate for the high performance horse. And some are especially made for medical purposes. There are lots of accessories that come with boots like pads, foam, buckles, wires, heel-straps, gaiters, and so on. It can become very confusing for the horse owner to purchase the correct gear for your riding purposes and to ensure a perfect fit (especially if you have to wait several weeks for your order to arrive). We can save you a lot of time trying out different boots and accessories and returning goods, because we have already been through all of that and done our research, so we can help you to get started with your new boots straight away.
